Just one question:
The “Christians” do not have any tolerance toward anyone exactly like them. How much more hatred will Rick Warren and his ilk have to spew before people will write them (and their “religion”) off?
Richard states: “For 53 years, I have lived my life as a proud citizen of the United States. I have served my country in uniform, paid my taxes with minimal complaint, and worked to support my government in any way possible within the dictates of my conscience. As a child, I heard the works of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, and was stirred to beleive that this dream could be true for all people, and wept with hope as Mr. Obama was elected to the Office of President of the United States.
“When listening to Dr. King, I was a young white boy from the Ozark Mountains of Missouri, and it was the first I had heard of racial equality.
“I served my country in the military, both Army and Navy, until I reached the point where as a God fearing American I could no longer be untruthful about my sexual orientation, and therefore requested that I be discharged.
“I wept with hope and joy at the election of Mr. Obama because it seemed that it was possible that equality for all could be achieved.
“Now that joy is gone. Rick Warren does not believe that I am deserving of equal treatment under the law, and Mr. Obama has publicly supported that postition. Hope is fading, and I have no more tears to shed.”
Shame on you Obama. Inclusiveness means including all of us. Not just a big homophobe that calls himself a “Christian” while excluding the gay people.
By the way Richard, Rick Warren feels that you and I are equal to pedophiles.
Rick Warren: “You know, to me, not a problem with me. But the issue to me is, I’m not opposed to that as much as I’m opposed to the redefinition of a 5,000-year definition of marriage. I’m opposed to having a brother and sister be together and call that marriage. I’m opposed to an older guy marrying a child and calling that a marriage. I’m opposed to one guy having multiple wives and calling that marriage.”
Memo to Warren: Marriage used to be between family members. Marriage used to be between adults and children. Marriage used to be about how many wives the man could have. Marriage used to be arranged. Marriage used to be about property. So, don’t try to tell me that it hasn’t changed. Don’t pull procreation out of the hat. Why let infertile couples marry? Don’t say it’s for the children. They wouldn’t be ridiculed if you’d stop making their parents out to be monsters.
So, Obama, where’s the inclusiveness? Fuck! To think that I actually expected something different from you. My bad.

“Here is a shovel ready job. Someone take a shovel and brain David Gregory.”
So, now the Rethuglicans care about fiscal sanity? What The Fuck?

“Are the Republicans who created the mess willing to push the country off the cliff into a depression?”
Can I get a WTF? Now they’re concerned about the budget?
